About the Founder

Luxintravels VIP was founded by Mirko La Rosa, one of the most recognized luxury travel storytellers in the world. With more than 3.5 million followers across his Instagram channels, Mirko has spent over a decade inside the world’s leading hotels, not only documenting them but understanding how luxury hospitality truly works behind the scenes.

Born in Catania, Sicily, Mirko’s path began far from the five-star suites and overwater villas he is known for today. After studying at Bocconi University and starting a promising career in the corporate world, he experienced a turning point: the realization that a predictable life was not the life he wanted to live.

He transitioned into the emerging world of digital travel content, quickly becoming a respected voice in luxury hospitality. Over the years, he collaborated with more than 200 iconic properties—Four Seasons, Six Senses, Banyan Tree, One&Only, Raffles, and many others.

Through this insider exposure, Mirko discovered the industry’s hidden pricing systems: public rates for regular consumers and private insider rates for professionals.

For more than a decade, I lived inside the world of luxury travel. Not as a tourist, but behind the scenes. Working with iconic resorts, creating content, telling their stories, and understanding exactly how the industry really works.

And in that journey, I learned something the hotel world never talks about:

Every hotel has two prices.

- The public rate: The one you see on Booking.com, Agoda, Expedia.

- And the insider rate: Unpublished discounts shared only with a small network of partners and private platforms.

Most travelers never access the second price.

Not because it doesn’t exist, but because it’s locked behind corporate memberships, heavy subscription fees, and strict eligibility requirements.
